I have booked a Spark PS LPG version in New Delhi. Its engine at idle was very quite (while A* had some vibes), airconditioning and riding felt good, during the test drive.
I wonder what checks should be exercised while taking delivery of the car (just read about a leaky petrol tank, which is unheard of).

i bought spark in aug 09 and its great car overall but giving less mileage at present otherwise its a great deal

spark is a very good car even i have one with the manual steering but it has bit of gear shifting problems while taking on 1st and 2nd the speed is ok but on 3rd,4th and 5th it catches no speed it automatically dies.you should launch this car in the diesel version

You wrote that u purchased spark from Bangalore. I am planning to purchase Spark LS or LT version in the coming week from Sundaram Motors, Kastruba road, Bangalore. Can you please advise what to do or certain precautions that i need to take before approaching them ? Do reply .

I own the Spark from the last 5 months. Overall experience has been good. Great car, pleasure to drive, good mileage. The only painpoint is the dealership issues here in Bangalore. The only way GM can loose on this car is through the dealers.

hey GM will u look all gm’s service and dealer in india, there is lot complaints about this..what hell r u doing? customer are worried and they r slowly moving away….hey GM get into actions asap….rectified these any problems.

all car of GM is superb…..but service and dealing is somewhat make us less confidential among the people….restore public faith and confdtl.

but, i want to say one thing is ….our dealing with service, interactions with dealer was good.
